Each run in RACCOIN is structured around a floor-by-floor progression. On each floor, you have a limited number of Drop Charges โ these are your ammunition. Each Drop Charge lets you drop one coin from above into the machine. When coins are pushed off the front ledge, they score points based on their type, your combo multiplier, and any active chip bonuses.
After clearing (or failing to clear) a floor's point target, you proceed to the Shop Phase. Here you spend Shop Gold on Item Chips โ permanent upgrades that stack across the entire run. The shop is where runs are won or lost. Knowing which chips to prioritize is as important as your in-machine play.
Every few floors, you encounter a Bad Coin โ RACCOIN's equivalent of a Boss Blind. Bad Coins impose penalties for that floor: things like reversed drop positions, halved Drop Charges, or coins that actively work against you. You cannot skip Bad Coin floors. Your chip selections must account for surviving these challenge floors.

RACCOIN has six playable characters. For your first several runs, always start with the Biologist. Her self-sustaining Drop Charge loop โ passive Rat Coin spawns every 4 seconds, consumed by Cat Coins for 3 Drop Charges each โ means you are almost never at risk of running out of drops. This lets you focus entirely on learning the physics engine and the shop system without resource pressure.
Once comfortable with the Biologist, try Raccoon Manager for a high-ceiling economy build, or Pyro if you want to learn explosive combo play. Avoid the Clockwork Engineer and Shadow Thief until you understand timing windows well โ they require precise setup that punishes beginners heavily.

The shop is visited after every floor in RACCOIN: Coin Pusher Roguelike. You spend Shop Gold earned from scoring to buy Item Chips. These are permanent upgrades for the rest of your run. Chip selection is the primary skill expression in RACCOIN โ a well-built chip board can turn a mediocre coin selection into a winning run.
The golden rule for beginners: always buy Score Multiplier when it appears. Each one adds ร0.5 to your total multiplier, and they stack additively. ๐ UNDERSTANDING THE RACCOIN COMBO SYSTEM
The combo system is one of the most important mechanics in RACCOIN: Coin Pusher Roguelike, and misunderstanding it is the most common reason new players score far below their potential. Every time a coin successfully scores (drops off the ledge), your combo counter increases by 1. Each combo level adds a multiplier to the next coin's score value.
The critical detail: the combo decays if you pause between drops. Waiting more than about 2โ3 seconds without a coin scoring causes the combo to start dropping back toward ร1. This means you should maintain a steady rhythm of drops rather than carefully aiming each one individually.
